| Located in Springfield, Queen City of the Ozarks, Springfield-Branson Regional Airport is the largest airport in Southwest Missouri. It is a popular, convenient destination for both business and leisure travel. Springfield-Branson Regional Airport currently has a 250,000 square foot terminal with ten gates, and a newly completed intermodal facility, from which travelers may board their ground transportation in temperature controlled comfort. Owned and operated by the City of Springfield, SGF averages 65 daily flights and 700,000 passengers annually. The airport is open around the clock and five airlines currently serve Springfield-Branson Regional Airport, with service to Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas/Ft. Worth,
Denver, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
There are several shuttle services that transport passengers from the airport to Branson. Springfield-Branson Regional Airport also has both short-term and long-term parking lots located directly across from the terminal building. The long-term and short-term lots are open and attended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |

| Drive East on West Kearney Street to the airport. Turn left at the first stoplight, which is the West Bypass (US-160). Immediately take the I-44 exit going East. Travel Northeast on I-44 for 6.8 miles, to Exit 82A/US-65, South from Branson. Drive South on US-65 from Branson for about 42.5 miles, and take the Branson exit of your choice. |
| Springfield Airport Facilities |
| The Springfield-Branson Regional Airport is the largest airport in Southwest Missouri, and offers all the facilities that one would expect from such a big, modern airport. There are information and help desks located in Terminal 1 and in Terminal 2. ATMs and computer data port facilities are available, and telephones situated in both terminals can be used to find hotel information and to contact car hire companies. There is a variety of restaurants and several gift shops at the airport, and also a lost property office.
Other facilities include a charter service, and the City Bus runs at 30 minute intervals from the airport (5 after and 35 after the hour), from 6:30am to 9:30am. Hourly service (on the half hour) is provided from 9:30am to 2:30pm, and half hour service resumes at 3:00pm to 6:30pm. The last bus of the day is 6:30pm. Bus service is not provided on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. |
